High School | Secondary Education

The High School program at Canadian Global School provides an outstanding academic education, preparing students to pursue opportunities at leading universities in Brazil and around the world. By integrating the Brazilian curriculum with a recognized international academic experience, the program develops the academic, social-emotional, and intercultural competencies students need to succeed in higher education and their future careers.

Dual Diploma: Brazil and Canada

Throughout High School, students simultaneously complete the Brazilian curriculum and the Ontario secondary school program in Canada through our partnership with Rosedale International Education. Upon completing Grade 12, students receive a dual credential package consisting of:

  • Brazilian High School Diploma
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Official Transcript
  • Canadian Report Card

The OSSD is a highly recognized international credential that expands opportunities for university admission in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and many other countries. Beyond the international credential, students develop independence, organization, critical thinking, academic English proficiency, and skills valued by leading higher education institutions.

An international learning journey

Throughout High School, students follow a continuous path of academic and personal development.

Grade 9

The beginning of the international journey, with a focus on adapting to the Canadian curriculum, developing academic skills, and strengthening independence.

Grade 10

Broadening students’ global perspectives through interdisciplinary projects, collaborative learning, and the development of essential 21st-century skills.

Grade 11

Intensified academic preparation through projects, research, and activities aligned with the expectations of leading national and international universities.

Grade 12

Consolidation of academic development and individualized guidance throughout the university admissions process, supporting each student in building their future pathway.

Preparing for universities in Brazil and abroad

Canadian Global School prepares students for diverse pathways to higher education. In addition to the international experience provided by the Dual Diploma, students receive strong preparation for Brazil’s major university admissions processes, including the ENEM and entrance examinations for the country’s most competitive universities.

Personalized support combines academic excellence, practice exams, study guidance, and the development of the skills required to achieve high performance.

At the Brasília campus, this process is further strengthened through our partnership with Apoio Singular, an institution recognized for its academic preparation. The initiative provides individualized support, specialist teachers, and personalized study plans, enabling each student to reach their full potential and pursue their university goals.

International Academic
Exchange

As part of the international experience, students participate in an academic and cultural exchange in Canada, experiencing daily life at a Canadian school and gaining a deeper understanding of different cultures and approaches to learning.

This experience strengthens English proficiency, independence, adaptability to new environments, and the development of a genuine global mindset.

An education for the future

More than preparing students for exams, Canadian Global School’s High School program develops young people who are ready to lead, innovate, and make a positive impact. Through international education, active learning methodologies, educational technology, and individualized support, each student completes this stage prepared to pursue opportunities at leading universities in Brazil and around the world and to build a successful future wherever they choose to go.
